THE ALIEN'S BACK

I have not posted anything for long as I was pondering over what I should use this blog for. The designing and deciding took me very long, I know. Finally, a decision has been made! I'll be posting book and movie reviews, hauls, my day in brief, PS tutorials, art stuff and so much more..

About my life, right now, I'm out of high school and is in between deciding whether to join a college in my hometown or go elsewhere for studies. I'll let you all know about it as soon as possible.

Multi activities

It's been about two months since I shifted from Dubai. I miss my home so much. I miss all the beautiful places, the food, painting and every activities I would do back there. Coming here (India), has made my life hectic. The easy time I had back in Dubai and the freedom I had there has been restricted in here. All I do is either study or blog or study again. There are no extra curricular or social activities happening in my life. I don't even get proper food. Losing pounds is not the only trouble I have been facing. It's been about two months since I met my awesome dad. My mum's away at granny's to take care of her.. I miss her more than anyone or anything. My friends are all back in Dubai. Getting adjusted in this new school was easy but not fun at all. If I were in Dubai, I would be roaming the streets but since I am here, I have to sit at home because India according to orthodox people is "baaad."

I just want to skip this year of my life and pretend like it never happened. Ahh, I wish I could do that. Maybe, dad had said, we'll go back to Dubai next year for my University.

The reason I had to leave Dubai is because my dad lost his job. He has got one temporarily. I request you all to please pray for him to get a good, permanent one.

Journaling

I love, love, love to fill in my journal. I bought this pretty little book from Typo with no intension of using it as a journal. One fine day as I was going through amazing users on instagram, I got stuck up with a page, @pepperandtwine. She inspired me to begin my own journal and, in all honesty, I am proud of my decision.

What I like to journal; journal prompts, likes and dislikes etc.. If one gets hold of my journal, they get to know what I am on the inside. Although, I don't let many people read it. I think journal is not just a way to kill time but it also brings one's self to a point where they start thinking deep about everything in their life, their self.. Journaling brings out the creativity inside you.

What I mentioned above is my outlook on journaling. In future, I will be posting some of my journal pages and will share with you some tips on journaling.

The distance between lost and found

I love reading books, perhaps, more than anything else in this whole world. I took this picture a while ago from a book shop called 'Book World-- Kinokuniya', Dubai. As I recall, I clicked this picture because I wished to read this book but was not carrying any cash to purchase it. So, I thought I'd buy it the next time I go there. Turns out there is no next time. That was my last visit to The Dubai Mall in a very long time. Now that I'm stuck up in India, I don't think I can get a hold of this book until my mates come from Dubai during their Summer vacation. I wanted to talk about this because I have no body else to talk to and nothing better to do with life. Forgive me for all the nonsense.
